Helping Deaf

Waiting to Hear exists to bring the gift of sound to children who are deaf or hard of hearing, and to support a listening and spoken language outcome for these kids.

How do we help?

Through programs like our free mobile screening clinic, our hearing aid bank, mentoring programs, and Camp H.E.A.R.  we ensure families have the resources necessary to achieve a hearing and spoken language outcome.

0 %+
of deaf children are born
to hearing parents.
0 %
of classroom discussion can be missed from a mild hearing loss.
0 in 5
American teens experience some degree of hearing loss.
